Made to Stay
A program focused on enriching lives by providing connections, education, and support to seniors in our community. We seek to help enable them to age confidently in their own homes, and on their own terms.
When members need a ride to an appointment, assistance with grocery shopping, or a friendly visit-they can count on us. Our volunteers and staff are screened, interviewed, and pass through state/federal background checks during the onboarding process.
Services include:
- Transportation
- Escorted Transportation
- Technical assistance – computers, tv, phones, etc.
- Social events
- Wellness and fitness
Services do not include:
- sitter-service
- support typically provided by nurses or nursing assistants
- personal care (bathing, feeding, or dressing)
- administering medication
Cost per month:
Up to 8 services $30
10-12 services $45
12-15 services $60
*Less than 8 services, $3.75 round-trip. These fees go directly to the operating expenses of this program.
Made to Stay Volunteers
If you would like to help improve the quality of life for a local senior, we’d love your help! Share your time and talents and do good for the community. MTS volunteers are able to pick a convenient time and request to match their skill level that assists a senior.
Donations
If you’d like to donate to our MTS program, we can always use some extra help! The operational cost of this program include background checks for volunteers, fuel for transport vehicles, and pay for staff, etc. Contact us today to make a donation or for any other questions you might have.
