Expanding to Serve the Growing Needs of Our Community

The Paducah Senior Center has long been a cornerstone for older adults in McCracken County, offering programs, resources, and a welcoming space for connection. As our community grows and the needs of our seniors evolve, so too must our Center....

With the number of residents aged 60 and older increasing, demand for our services has outpaced our current facility's capacity and our original plans for a potential new construction project of an only 11,000 square foot space. We've reached a point where additional classes, activities, and programs are needed and have been added to our Center.

This space we're bringing back to life, has once served some of the same people we serve now. A large number of our Seniors attended school in this building, to now serve them in it at this stage of their life-is a full circle moment!

What Will the New Center Offer?

The new to us facility will nearly double our current space, allowing us to:

• Serve twice as many seniors.
• Provide multiple activity rooms for concurrent sessions.
• Offer two flexible large rooms that can be divided to meet various needs. Serving not only our Seniors but the community as a whole.
• Increase nutrition and health programs.
• Enhance health and wellness outcomes for our members.
• Add new programs and classes-inside and outside the building. With almost 10 acres of land on site.
• Provide much-needed community meeting space.

Gymnasium  Sponsor $50,000(1 sponsor)-All furnishings and fixtures. This space will have the ability to hold fitness classes, sporting events, large-crowd performances, resource fairs, and much more! Includes naming rights, and a space on our donor wall.

Cafeteria Sponsor $20,000(1 sponsor)-All furnishings and fixtures. You can turn this dining space into the heart of the Center with your sponsorship. Includes naming rights, and a space on our donor wall.

Fitness Center Sponsor $15,000(1 sponsor)-All equipment and furnishings. This space will demonstrate the commitment we have to the health and wellness of the Seniors in our community. Includes naming rights, and a space on our donor wall.

Auditorium Sponsor $10,000(1 sponsor)-All furnishings and fixtures. This space will hold daily musical entertainment, educational speakers, and much more! Includes naming rights, and a space on our donor wall.

Library/Media Room $7,000(1 sponsor)-All furnishings and fixtures. We will hold daily educational classes, monthly book clubs, a great selection of books, and much more in this space. Includes naming rights, and a space on our donor wall.

Creative Room $5,000(1 sponsor)-All furnishings, fixtures, and supplies.  This space will hold daily classes such as: painting, quilting, sewing, jewelry making, and much more! Includes a space on our donor wall.

Walt's Closet $5,000(1 sponsor)-All furnishings and fixtures. This space will hold donated items such as non-perishable food, hygiene products, toiletry items, incontinence supplies, medical equipment, and clothing. This resource is available to all Seniors in the community, including homebound Seniors, as we're able to deliver requested items. Includes a space on our donor wall.

Golden Cafe $3,500(1 sponsor)-All furnishings and fixtures. A relaxing, welcoming space to have coffee and conversation. Includes space on our donor wall.

Billiards/Game Room $3,500(1 sponsor)-All furnishings and fixtures. This space will hold pool tables, dart boards, cornhole, and much more! Includes a space on our donor wall.
